Basic Tanktop Sewing Pattern
Design
The jersey top sewing pattern, also known as tanktop or singlet, is one of the basics in your closet. The combination possibilities are endless: whether with a cute mini skirt or a loose blouse, the tank top pattern is the perfect piece for the onion look! As a summer top or winter top under a cardigan, the tank top always looks good. With the wide neck and armhole binding and the high neckline, the trendy tank top pattern has a modern, sporty look. You decide: Sew the high neck tank top in the cropped version to pair with high-waisted pants or shorts, for example, or choose the longer version for a cozier look that always fits. The pattern for The Basic Top includes sizes XS-XXXL.

Tip: For the tank top pattern The Basic Top, for example, we use a cotton rib fabric made of 100% cotton with a weight of 330g/m2. The pattern is constructed for a fabric with little stretch. For fabrics with more stretch, you can also sew one size smaller. We recommend a test piece before sewing with the final fabric.

Which size is the right one? As always, take a look at our size chart. Even if your measurements are slightly different, it's not a problem! The loose silhouette allows for a great fit on all of us.
For reference, our model Valeria is 176cm (5′ 9.3″) tall and wears size S. Our model Dayami is 175cm (5′ 9.3″) tall and wears size XL.
