Join us October 23–25, 2026, at Silver Creek Events in Madison, South Dakota, for our 2nd Annual Mindful Quilting Retreat.

From 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. each day, you'll have dedicated time to sew, learn, and enjoy the company of fellow quilters who understand exactly why creating is good for the soul.

Whether you're hoping to finish a long-awaited project, learn a new technique, or simply enjoy uninterrupted sewing time, this retreat offers the perfect setting.

In a world filled with screens and constant distractions, giving children the opportunity to create something with their own hands is more valuable than ever. Sewing teaches much more than how to thread a needle or guide fabric through a machine. It builds confidence, encourages creativity, and develops life skills that will stay with them for years to come.

We trade in the long, sun-soaked afternoons for cozy evenings, steaming mugs of tea, and warm blankets. It’s the season to slow down, hibernate a little, and indulge in the simple joys of home. And for quilters, there’s no better way to embrace the season than by gathering around fabric, thread, and a shared love for creating.
