Cloche Hat

This close fitting lined bell shaped hat has a rounded crown and 2” brim with slight flare. Hat band can be made of contrasting or self fabric. Optional feather embellishment is glued in place. Fit’s 21”- 22” head. SKILL BUILDER TECHNIQUES: Learn to sew 3/8”seam allowances, apply both linings and facings, how to sew darts and gathers, understitching and use hand stitching. FABRICS: Linen, taffeta, doupioni, flannel, velveteen, ultra suede, or twill fabrics such as denim or herringbone. Also appropriate for medium weight cotton types such as gingham, eyelet or corduroy.
