Let's Make a Midi Bag! April 24th 10a-1p

Are you looking for a fun, easy, practical project to use up your stash of scraps? This is it! The Midi bag goes together quickly and produces a roomy, beautiful tote. No zippers, no buckles, just a gorgeous, versatile bag. Learn how to turn scraps into a useful tote. It looks complicated but Maryjo will show you step-by-step, easy to follow instructions. Supplies: Midi bag pattern ($14.59), pre-printed fusible interfacing, lining fabric-1 1/4 yd (dark color recommended) , fusible fleece- 1 1/14 yd, fabric squares: 108 2 1/2" (OR 16 2 1/2" strips) , as well as four 2 1/2" wide strips that are 22" long for the bag straps ( dark color recommended). Before attending class, please cut your fabric scraps into 108 squares measuring 2 1/2". If you cut out squares, please also cut four 2 1/2" wide by 22" long strips for the straps. Alternativly instead of cutting squares you could also cut 16 strips that are 2 1/2" wide.
