Welcome to Beyond the Frame and the inspirational space we will create together! Our mutual love of machine embroidery and how sewing can enrich your life and the lives of those you love is what inspires us each day. Here you’ll find monthly projects that will teach new techniques and introduce you to new ways to get the most out of your embroidery machine. Each month there will be a new inspirational project along with free embroidery designs that can be stitched on any embroidery machine! Beyond the Frame is a Zandra and Mila Shaw production. Each month they create a new project and give it to all of us for FREE. Sew Downtown's contribution will be to test the design, provide a sample and pass along tips. Join us monthly for those things that we encounter while sewing that aren't covered in Zandra and Mila's video. No need to bring your machine, just sit back and let us do the work. If time allows, we demo previous projects and provide those designs.
