
We're seeing a lot of heirloom techniques in ready to wear clothing. It's been made to look contemporary with color and fabric choices. Folded tucks, pin tucks, lace insertion, hemstitching and sharks teeth are heriloom techniques that can be "contemporized" and used to embellish your clothing, quilting and home decor projects. This class wiill teach those techniques and advice on how to use them in your projects. Class fee includes the fabric needed to make samples for you to take home.
Supplies: Wing needle
Size 100/16 or 100/18 needle
Size 2.0/11 twin needle (or size you have)
Pintuck foot (if you have one, if not we do)
1 spool 60 wt thread, also filled bobbin
Iron and ironing pad if you have them
Ruler
Marking pen
Fabric folding pen (optional)
